COMMAND    RESULT


seek (FD, 100)    The file descriptor pointer moves to the 10th character from the beginning of the file.

seek (FD, 51)     The file descriptor pointer moves characters forward from its current position.

seek (FD, -51)    The file descriptor pointer moves characters backward from its current position.

seek (FD, -102)   The file descriptor is moved 10 characters from the end of the file.
