Encoding::UTF_8          # UTF-8-encoded Unicode characters
Encoding::EUC_JP         # EUC-encoded Japanese
Encoding::SHIFT_JIS      # Japanese: also ::SJIS, ::WINDOWS_31J, ::CP932
