1.2.5.The Most Important mysql Commands
AbbreviationCommandInterpretation
\cclearterminates input of command.
\hhelpdisplays a list of commands.
\qexit or quitends mysql.
\sstatusshows status information on the MySQL server.
\T [f]tee [filename]logs all input and output into the specified file.
\tnoteeends tee. The logging can be resumed at any time with tee or \T.
\u dbuse databasemakes the specified database the default.
\. fnsource filenameexecutes the SQL commands contained in the given file. The commands must be separated by semicolons.
