I understand the complaints. In today's structure of constantly breaking news and immediate global updates, the frustration over the delay of video footage is natural. We're used to being pummeled by live information at all times.

Proponents of the new law might believe that securing an ID is simple because the state will issue them free of charge -- yet this does not take into account the fact that the cost for documentation required to obtain a government-issued photo ID could be more than voters in need can afford.

The best thing to do right now is to take a step back and see things from a different perspective. People believe in many things, but too often beliefs are not based on facts. The bias of the Freeh report and the coverage by the media do not always deliver the facts, the truth.
