    Polyethylene Implants in Nasal Septal Restoration

    To evaluate the use of polyethylene implants (Medpor; Porex Technologies) in the closure of nasal septal perforations (SPs), Cho et al studied 14 patients between March 2008 and February 2011. Patients underwent repair of their nasal SP with a polyethylene orbital floor sheet implant and were assessed for successful closure with an intact polyethylene graft and complete remucosalization by the 1-year follow-up visit.
