Policy Updates

Revised Academic Service Center Policy and Academic Service Center Procedures Manual have been approved.
Key changes to the policy are:

• Scope: Policy is limited to Academic Service Centers; central service units are excluded
• Governance: Schools are responsible for review and approval of new service centers
• Financial: The threshold for an Academic Service Center’s surplus or deficit has been increased to 15% of annual operating expenses

The Academic Service Center Procedures Manual

is a new document to accompany the recently revised and approved Academic Service Center Policy. The Procedures Manual provides financial and administrative guidance for research staff working in, or overseeing, a service center.

Revised Subrecipient Monitoring Policy has been approved.

The revised policy outlines roles and responsibilities and subrecipient monitoring procedures.
