Hey Friend!

(That's what you hear at the beginning of my voicemail message.)

I'm Jade. I live in the South where our tea is sweet and our days are humid. I'm convinced anyone that lives on the Gulf Coast must be part fish to be able to breathe in this humidity.

I'm a college graduate, but I'm not really using that education to make money. I'm a secretary for the juvenile crimes unit of the city police department. Luckily(maybe?), we haven't had a huge caseload as of late, so I get to spend my days patrolling WikiHow and playing "Running with Friends" on my phone.

I have a magical Labracadoberman (labrador retriever and doberman mix) named Cosmo. He likes to eat walls, books, suitcases, mattresses, water bottles, door facings, and pizza. He will literally try to snatch pizza from your hands... It's an issue we are working to resolve. He is only a year old, and I'm certain he will be as large as a pony within the next year. I'm currently pricing dog saddles -- at least I can save money on my morning commute when he reaches full maturity!

There are a few siblings in my life. 3 real siblings and one 'in-law' sibling. Oh, and I suppose we have 2 fur-siblings too, since Mom calls her dogs her babies. I currently preside as the oldest of the chirren, but once I hit 30 in a few years, I'll pause and wait for someone else to pass me. I'm content with staying 30 and relinquishing my "oldest child/grandchild" throne.

I love Jesus. He's a pretty cool Savior.

I serve on the board of directors at the Campus Ministry organization I belonged to in college. The Campus Minister is probably one of my best friends on the planet. He's quirky like me, so we get along well. My official job(s) on the board revolve around our annual Cook-off and Silent Auction Fundraiser event in Octobers. I love it!

One day, I plan to marry Darius Rucker if the opportunity arises. I do not wish for his current marriage to end under any circumstances, but if it does, I will be there to help that beautiful man pick up the pieces. haha!

Ummm, I think that's everything. Talking about myself is strange. If there's anything you are dying to know, you can ask. I'm pretty much an open book. Worst case scenario? You make me cry and I have to go to therapy for 6 years to talk about how I feel inadequate and need real life friends instead of just perceived virtual companionship via wikiHow and free dating websites.
