Yes, I'm pulling back from a lot of those high conflict articles for some period of time. I've been feeling like Wikipedia just can't deal with the really problematic editors any more, including biased ones who trash biographies and hound other editors. Though recent events have made me hopeful, like the quote from a very useful ANI below:

A longtime editor wrote: ...There has been agenda-driven article inflation by activists across the project for years. The problems arise when other editors try to identify and rectify such editing, they get labeled as racists, bigots, homophobes, antisemites, depending on what the subject matter is...
