There's no real need to buy fancy acne products to heal blemishes. Who needs 15$ conditioner? Here are some simple, fast ways to look great using ingredients from your kitchen! Note: All of these treatments have been tested and used by me.
Edit Steps
Eggs
- 1Crack 3-4 eggs into a plastic bowl, depending on the thickness of your hair.
- 2Whip the raw egg until you begin to see a couple bubbles in the mixture.
- 3Shower as you normally would, but after you are done shampooing, scrub some of the egg through your entire hair.
- 4Exit the shower.
- 5Wash your face as you normally would, then rub the egg on after you've rinsed the soap off.
- 6After you rinse the egg off your face, it will feel smooth and really clean!
- 7Then, return to the shower to soak your hair. Make sure you get all of the egg out.
- 8Dry your hair - it will feel super soft!
Mayo
- 1Spoon some of the stuff into a plastic bowl and take it into the shower with you.
- 2Again, shampoo as usual.
- 3Apply the mayo as you would any conditioner. But use it with caution, please! If you apply too much, it can weigh down your hair and quickly become greasy.
- 4After you rinse it out, dry your hair, and brush it. Mayo leaves the hair amazingly soft and silky. Surprisingly, it doesn't even leave behind a smell!
Strawberry, Bananas and Toothpaste
- 1Mash some bananas in a plastic bowl or blender.
- 2You can either add crushed strawberries in with them, or you can apply slices of strawberry to effected areas once the mask is washed off.
- 3Add a generous amount of toothpaste (preferably NOT whitening), and stir/blend.
- 4Apply mask to face.
- 5Wait 10-15 minutes or until dry, then wash off. Your blackheads will vanish!
Teabags
- 1Get teabags - any kind of tea will do.
- 2Wet them in cold water. The water should be as cold as possible, and will be more effective at a cooler temp.
- 3Lay back, lay the teabags over your eyes, and watch dark circles melt away after 15-30 minutes.
Milk
- 1Rinse your hair with cold milk to get a soft feel and a great shine. You can do this after shampooing or after every shower.
- 2Simply fill up a cup and once you're done, pour! If you want a shine but can't afford to waste milk, you can rinse your hair with freezing cold water after your shower and your hair will GLOW!
Edit Tips
- Splashing milk on your face every morning makes you seem awake and glowing!
- If you find a home remedy that works well on your face, it will probably work well on your hair, too. This is because hair is basically dead skin, and made of the same stuff! If eggs make your skin great, you might want to try them on your hair as well.
- Before you go to bed, dab toothpaste on zits and pimples. They'll disappear over night.
