Edit Steps
FACE
- 1Wash every day, morning and night, with a face wash. Make sure that it's suited for your skin type. Teenage girls should not be using face washes for 40 year old women.
- 21-3 times a week use a face scrub. Be gentle, and once again find something for you.
- 3Don't pick or pop your zits! It may be hard, but it can cause scars and marks. If you need them gone, some over the counter acne medication will work wonders. Invest in a good cleanser, scrub and spot treatment -- your face will thank you
- 4Drink lots of water, and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. After two weeks the difference will be noticeable. Getting a good night's sleep is also vital - aim for 8 hours every day.
HAIR
- 1Wash your hair 2 to 3 times a week. At the most wash your hair every other day. Washing your hair everyday removes the essential oils your hair needs to stay healthy. If your hair gets really greasy after one day, apply a dry shampoo to soak up the excess oil.
- 2Shampoo hair and scrub gently with your fingertips, all over your head, and rinse well. Make sure your shampoo is good a good quality, same with your conditioner.
- 3Apply conditioner, and comb your hair with a large toothed comb. Rinse.
- 4Serums will help your hair look its best, depending on your hair type. Do you want shiny, soft, or smooth hair?
SKIN
- 1Shower or bathe every day.
- 2When you bathe, add a cup of whole milk to the water. Relax for a bit while your skin absorbs the luscious milk.
- 3Use an exfoliant to remove any dead skin.
- 4Apply a rich moisturizer (with Shea butter)as soon as you get out. However, do not apply it to your face every time as this makes your skin oily and increases spots.
MOUTH
- 1Brush your teeth in the morning and at night and floss once a day.
- 2See your dentist if you want your teeth whitened, and be sure to visit him/her twice a year for your check-ups!
- 3Exfoliate your lips and moisturize them. Dry, cracked lips look horrible.
- 4If you have stinky breath, mouth wash is something you definitely want to look into.
