The Department of Diagnostic Radiology offers a variety of screening and diagnostic exams. A screening exam is available to the public with a written order, but may not be covered by your insurance plan. Examples of screening tests that may not be covered by insurance are the Virtual Colonoscopy and Cardiac Scoring.

There are also diagnostic radiology exams that are used when a patient has a symptom or symptoms. Whichever test you are interested in, The University of Maryland Radiology Department is equipped with all the latest in technology, and we and look forward to servicing you and your loved ones.
