Per avere lo status di bot, occorre: Registrare un'utenza con la parola bot compresa nel nome. La pagina utente del bot dovrebbe riportare le indicazioni per contattare il manovratore del bot stesso. Annunciare in questa pagina le principali funzionalità del bot stesso e i campi di intervento previsti. Specificare il software utilizzato (es. AutoWikiBrowser, PyWikipediaBot ecc.) e il suo linguaggio di programmazione. Raccogliere un certo numero di pareri favorevoli da parte di due amministratori Per i bot gestiti da utenti di altre wiki e che utilizzano Pywikipedia per le funzionalità di interlink, è sufficiente un solo parere positivo e non è necessaria un'attesa più lunga di qualche giorno. To obtain a bot flag you have to: Register a bot account with the word bot in the username. Something like YourusernameBot. Username with non-latin types are not allowed. Please identify the maintainer and add a discussion page where we can contact you. Add in this page a short description of the bot's purpose and which software(s) it uses (pywikipedia framework, etc). Bot has to be approved by two sysops If you have already the bot flag on other wikimedia projects, and you are on Pywikipedia framework to put interlink or fix double redirects it is not necessary to wait more than few days. Please note that automatic approval is not allowed.*Add your request in this page copying the form!

At the moment we don't have enough users to check also bot edits, we will consider only requests for pywikipedia/interwiki bots.
