Identify a Credible Psychic Medium

Mystics may seem all smoke and mirrors, and nothing after you've got pass it; but there are ways to identity people with apparently implausible abilities. Though this isn't going to be straight forward science, it will give you an insight to what you should generally look for.

Edit Steps

  1. 1
Listen to a mystic they may sound terrifically other worldly, but they are simply talking from a different perspective or perception other than what you are use-to. (Whether it is based in reality or not is a different subject)
  2. 2
They will either generally answer questions, or ask questions and answer at parts you wouldn't expect or add extra information on a subject that you wouldn't expect them to.
  3. 3
Remember that, regardless of whether or not the person actually knows the information to be true or has experience in the subject, s/he is merely talking from their opinions and memories. As such it is not advisable to talk on this information as absolute truth or take on philosophically or spiritually.
  4. 4
A quick for instance: Even if you met an multidimensional entity and could ask them about it and did so; you would not learn as much or as fast about the other dimension as you would by going there.

Edit Tips

  • Remember that information you hear from a mystic may sound enlightening or insightful to you but this information is usefulness varies from person-to-person.

Edit Warnings

  • One thing to look out for is "cold reading", at first it sounds enlightening and specific, but actually fits a much broader scope of people. One way to identify fake mediums using this method is they will emphasize and reinforce any chance connections the listener/s acknowledge in anyway they can perceive while quickly moving on from missed guesses.
