Selectively Delete Items from Internet Explorer

Have you ever wanted to delete a few items from your internet history but didn't want to delete EVERYTHING? Well, here how to delete only the few items you don't want.

Edit Steps

  1. 1
Click on the star icon under your toolbar (a.k.a. your favorites icon).

  2. 2
Click on the tab to the far left that says history.

  3. 3
Once you get there, there will be a drop down menu with all the sites you have visited you can either delete the site completely from your list or you can click on the website to view your more detailed searches and/or activities.

  4. 4
Right click on the link and click delete.

Edit Tips

  • This helps for those of you who may have been searching for inappropriate detail through a search engine or doing stuff you shouldn't through a relatively normal site (don't worry.. we've all done it ;)) this way you can delete some of the more detailed searches without getting rid of the site completely
