How to Queue Posts on Tumblr
Edited by Monica, Flickety, Eric, Teresa and 7 others
Tumblr has a publishing option of staggered posts via the queue. The queue is great if you're on Tumblr pretty infrequently or if you'll be away from your computer for an extended period of time, but it can be tricky to use. Follow this tutorial to figure out how to queue posts without any trouble!
Edit Steps
-
1Access the post you want to queue. This can either be reblogged from someone else or an original post by you, but it cannot be published yet. Select "Add to queue" from the list of posting options.Ad
-
2Click on the "Queue post" button at the bottom of the page. You will be redirected to the dashboard, where you'll click on your blog title to retrieve your queued posts.
-
3Scroll down the page. Click on the "Queue" bar (which should be located on the right side of the screen).
-
4Change your queue settings to suit your preferences. Save by clicking on the button on the top right. You're done!Ad
