    Visit any non-mobile wikiHow webpage in your web browser.

    Locate and hover over the "My Profile" link at the top right corner of the wikiHow webpage.

    Slide your cursor down to the Log Out
  4. 4
    Click the Log Out button. Now you are signed out.

Edit Tips

  • Some pages may continue to display your Username, as if you were still logged in, until you clear your browser cache. Refresh the page and it'll say Sign In instead.
  • Always log out if you are using a computer that is accessible to others, such as in a workplace, someone else's computer or laptop, or a public library.
  • If you forget your password, having supplied us with your email address, it will allow us to send you a new password via email.
  • You can continue editing or writing articles on wikiHow as you would normally do. Instead of your user name showing up on the author's section, Anonymous will show up instead.
  • Logging out allows you to contribute anonymously to wikiHow.
