The Spring 2014 SMWCon will be held May 21-23 in Montréal, Canada. SMWCon is a twice-yearly event for users and developers of Semantic MediaWiki. You can read the conference announcement here.
Location
The Spring 2014 SMWCon will be held at Concordia University in Montréal. Montréal is the second-largest city in Canada and the metropolis of the province of Quebec. Rich in culture and history, Montréal has earned itself a reputation as one of the liveliest cities in North America for its festivals during summer time.
The conference is split in two parts:
- the tutorial day, where experts will teach various topics related to wikis: usage, applications, development, business models
- the conference days that gather talks from academia, business, government and non-profit representatives about applying semantic wikis to practice and the newest research in the field.
For more information about the conference series, see SMWCon. For general discussions or questions about this conference, please use the user mailing list.
