    • Send used ink cartridges to Pet Smart or take them to the store. They recycle them and use the money to help animals.
    • Office Depot accepts ink cartridges and will give you a discount on another one.
    • Staples also accept HP, Lexmark and Dell printer cartridges. They will give you a $3 coupon in return.

    Many manufacturers package their ink cartridges with a returnable envelope - if you send them your used cartridge they will ensure that it is recycled.
