2Set your area if it is not automatically set. This can be done by clicking "Change location" by clicking on the link on the program, or right-clicking the icon on the Quick Launch toolbar.

1Find your weather channel by looking at your TV guide. This is usually shown as "NWS" or "Weather".

2Tune into a local news channel. Most news stations broadcast weather and traffic every half hour or so.

3Look for The Weather Channel if available in your TV guide. This channel broadcasts local every 10 minutes.
