Google Keep is an simple and intuitive application for taking notes. It is available as an app for Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and higher versions of Android, and as a web app through Google Drive, and as a Google Chrome browser app. It integrates with Google Drive to save and sync notes.

Method 1 of 4: Get Google Keep on Android

    Open the Google Play Store app.

    Find the Google Keep app. Type "Google keep" in search bar and click on search.

    Download and install the app. Click on "Download", then read through the permissions and accept them to download the app onto your phone. It will then be installed automatically.

    Create new notes. Enter notes such as "Write an article in wikiHow", "Buy cereals" etc. by typing directly into the text box. Click on "Done" to add the note.Note: Google Keep automatically saves your notes as soon as you enter them.

    Add images to your notes. Click on "Add image" to add an image.

    Create voice notes when you can't type. Click on the microphone icon to create a voice note.

    Create list notes for activities that involve steps or items. You can turn the checkboxes on or off on list notes.

    Use reminders to keep you on track. Click on "Remind me" to remind you to do the task.

    Use colours to keep notes sorted. Click on "color palette" to change color of your note.

    Archive old or unused notes. Click on "Archive" to store your notes.

    Delete unwanted notes. Click on "Delete" button to delete your note.Select the note and click on "delete" button to delete the task you have completed.
