Read Data from a Checkbox


Create a new file, public\input.html

 <html>
   <head>

   </head>
   <body>

     This Ruby on Rails application lets you read data from checkboxes.

Edit app\controllers\hello_controller.rb

 class HelloController < ApplicationController
   def there
     @data = params[:check1]
   end
 end
 
File: app\views\hello\there.rhtml:

 Start the WEBrick server: ruby script/server
