Imagine the first thing you see when you get to school is a sea of backpacks. Now, imagine trying to break through the "sea" to get to your next class. This could take up your whole time in between classes, which is a complete waste of time.

Walk faster. However, the people behind you are still going to think you are slow as they come.

Wait about 30 seconds after the bell rings. The initial panic of "oh my god, I have to get out of this class" syndrome will be over. Now, there won't be as much traffic.

    3
Be the complete opposite of the panic syndrome. Pack your things way before the bell rings, so when it does, shoot out of your chair as fast as possible.

Sneak out through the "forbidden" staircase or hallway. Do this with caution, when none of the teachers are watching.

Sprint as fast as you can to your next class. If you're not up to walking and you feel your cardio could use some improvement, recharge that system with this method.

Blame the teacher. Have you ever had that teacher you can just blame for everything? Well now is your chance to use them. Walk as slow as you want and if you're late to class no worries, just blame your previous teacher for not excusing you at the right time.

Be polite in the hallway. It's such a good idea that you actually will get to class on time. You just might not realize it because you're too busy being nice.
  8. Avoid Hallway Traffic Step 8.jpg

Be organized. Have your stuff ready to go at the bell. Don't just sit there after it rings, acting like you left your brain at home.

Make a map. After your first day, it's not okay to get lost. If you're that bad at remembering which hallway is yours, draw out a map or use one from your school. Don't let this be a cause for tardiness, it's only excusable the first day.

Don't fall asleep, you're at school. Make sure you are well rested. It's hard to get going if you're tired. Don't be sluggish, be hyperactive; at least you'll get to class on time.
