How to Make Flip Flop Flower Pot Holders
Edited by Noveen Nauman, Maluniu, Adelaide
Spring into summer with these adorable flip flop flower pot holders you can make at home in less than 10 minutes! Make sure you work with only a new pair of flip-flops because the straps will be the key to holding your flowerpot in place.
EditSteps
-
1Transfer the pre-planted flower to the coffee cups. Using your shovel, remove the flowers, along with dirt from the plastic planter and transfer to coffee cup.
- Add dirt and pack well.
- Add water so flowers take root in the new soil.
- Set cups aside.

2Mount flip-flops on your wall using the picture hanging kit. It’s easier to mount the shoes without the flowerpots in place.
- Turn shoes, topside out and hang by the shoe heels (so toe portion is pointing downward).
- Check your mount for strength before adding flowerpots.
-
3Line the inside of the plastic shoe straps with glue. You will only need a small amount of glue as the plastic will easily adhere to the ceramic mug.
-
4Add flower pot mugs to shoes. Insert the mug into the flip-flop straps. The straps should hold the mug in place, but hold onto the mug for a few minutes to allow time for glue to dry.Ad
