1Pick out an area in your yard that has full sun.Ad

2Select a small kit "hot house" with shelves from the local hardware store. One that can be assembled easily. They can range from $100.00 to $300.00 for a walk in "hot house".

3Purchase veggie and herb seeds such as okra, lettuce, pumpkin, onions, coriander, parsley, rosemary, and anything you love to eat.

4Get some garden soil especially designed for veggie gardens.

5Sow the seeds in small 2 inch containers. You can use cardboard egg cartons, little planter boxes, but make sure you have drainage.

6Water and sun is needed each day. Touch the soil and make sure that is is wet but not soaked.

7Within 7 to 10 days, seedlings will appear. Once the are about 6 inches high, replant them in bigger pots or containers.

8Make sure you pinch off any dry leaves, and try to avoid any chemicals on your nature garden.

9Veggies and herbs will continue to grow and you can start eating them within a short timeframe.

10With the herbs, collect fresh leaves and use in all your cooking. The flavour of having fresh makes the food taste delicious!

11Have fun with your garden and don't be afraid to experiment with different seeds.
