Edited by Prp e, Chris, Ron D
A lot of people think that BSD isn't a suitable OS for desktop, but it can be a good choice for the right person!
EditSteps
-
1Use a desktop-oriented BSD distro. Some BSDs, like PC-BSD or GhostBSD have pre-installed desktop environments and software. If you don't want to build desktop from a terminal-based system, they're best choices.

2Use Mac OS X. Mac OS X is originally forked from FreeBSD and It can be a good choice for BSD desktop experience.
-
3Use a major BSD, then Install GUI. A major BSD like FreeBSD or OpenBSD has a lot of documents and user-guides. Also, they have big repositories that included a lot of programs.
