Cleaning a blender is easy,but it can be hard if you don't clean it straight after you use it. Even if you don't have the time to clean it straight after use, at least pour in this simple cleaning mixture to await your return later.

    Ensure that the blender jug is sitting in the base properly before proceeding. It is easy to forget to screw it back together properly after use.

  • Ensure that the entire appliance is dry before storage.
  • It is always a good idea to wipe the base and wash the jug as quickly as possible after use to avoid hardening and drying of the food or liquid items. This makes it much harder to clean.
  • If the blender is absolutely filthy, or has been taken out of storage, a mixture of baking soda, vinegar, and dish-washing soap blended for a moment, left to soak overnight, and then blended again, works wonders. You may also utilize an (old) toothbrush to scrub stubborn stains away. Rinse well with warm water and get to blending!
  • With many blenders, the impeller assembly will unscrew from the jug. This makes cleaning under the blades easier.
