How to Choose Whether a Fish Is Good to Buy

Sometimes when buying a fish you are not sure which fish to get.
EditSteps
-
1Ask someone who works there. Ask them if any fish in the tank have recently gotten ill. If so, you may want to reconsider getting that fish.Ad
-
2Consider the size of your tank. If you want a lot of fish you may want to consider getting a smaller size fish. If you don't want a lot of fish, you could get a bigger fish.
-
3Consider your other fish (if you have any). You need to get a fish about the same size as the one(s) you already have. Make sure that neither fish will be a danger to each other.
-
4Examine the fish. If it looks rather sickly or questionable, reconsider.
-
5If there's lots of dead fish in the tank, consider that one of the fish might have been the cause of it.
-
6After choosing your fish, make sure your tank is clean and has all the things that it needs. Also check your fish food and make sure it's the right kind.Ad
