How to Kill a Shark
Edited by Mffflel, Platelminto
This article will give you tips on how to kill a shark if approached and how to avoid being hurt in the process.
EditSteps
-
1If you see the shark, but it does not see you, be smart and swim away slowly. Do not swim quickly as the shark will hear you.Ad
-
2If the shark spots you and comes to you, try to look as strong as possible. Nearly all of the time sharks don't want to attack you, and the shark isn't looking for trouble, especially if you're acting like that.
-
3If this doesn't scare it off, and the shark is attacking you, punch it in a fragile area. The eyes, gills and snout in sharks are very fragile. Also, "tickling" a shark under it's stomach will freeze the shark for a few minutes.
-
4After many punches in fragile areas, the shark should retreat.
-
5Go to the water's surface and look around for a boat or shore. If you see a boat, call to it calmly. If you see shore, slowly swim there. The shark might come back, so swim quickly, but not too quickly as to alarm the shark.
-
6Go home. Relax, tell a friend if it makes you feel better.
-
7If you have been bitten, see a doctor for assistance. A shark bite can lead to serious consequences if not treated.Ad
EditTips
- Sharks are not everywhere, so try to keep out of shark territory.
- Sharks do not seem to be damaged by non-weapon blows anywhere other than the eyes, gills, or snout, but have a reaction (they are paralyzed for a few minutes) if "tickled" under the stomach.
- Do not play dead in front of the shark. It will make it want to eat you, since you can't fight back (supposedly).
EditWarnings
- Even if your bite is minor, go to the doctor. Even a minor bite can cause problems and big bites can sometimes leave teeth lodged in the skin, causing infections and possibly other diseases.
- Sharks are dangerous, you should only go through shark territory if it is the only route. If not, take a safer route, with no sharks.
