    Buy a pond! Many stores offer a small variety of fish ponds, mystic water gardens is a great place for ponds! The pond must be 1000 for sterlets. All other species must be a minimum of 2000 gallons.

    Buy the requirements for the pond! The water should be filtered, so buy a filter. Make sure the water is well oxygenated, especially in the summer months, so use an air pump. Buy a backup pump in case the main pump wears off.

    Buy food! Sturgeons need proper food. (Not wheat germ or cereal based foods.) You might find one at a pet store, but most likely the store you bought it from, or an exotic pet store?
