EditSteps
-
1Find a wholesale fish dealer near you. The dealer should be reliable and have a wide selection. You will want to set up a relationship with him or her. It is important to be polite and kind to them, as people are more likely to buy from you if you are a nice person.
-
2Purchase fish by demand; don't keep them in your house for long. This will decrease their value. Make sure you know all the details of the fish, such as size, type, and gender. It is important because a bidder would want to know exactly what he/she is receiving before bidding on the fish.
-
3Sell to the highest bidder. This step is quite obvious, and needs no further explanation.
-
4Give fish food to the buyer. This will please them. Give the fish food for no extra charge, as the customer may decide to buy from you again.
-
5Keep the fish in water even during the transaction. If the fish dies, you will have to return the customer's money.
