-
5Insert a cup at the mouth of your model. This is where the chemical reaction will take place.

6Paint your volcano with acrylic paint.
-
7Stand back. This is where the exciting part takes place.

-
9Add 8 tablespoons of water and 2 teaspoons of baking soda and a drop of food coloring into a bowl. Mix thoroughly. Pour into the cup.
-
10This step is where the volcano will erupt. Add 1 teaspoon of vinegar. Wait for a few moments, Then the volcano will erupt like a real-life volcano to astonish your friends!Ad

- Add a cardboard sign labeling the mountain as one of your favorite hills or so.
- make the volcano on a tray to collect the lava (foam).
- Make the bottom side of the mountain hollow. Add a secret little voice recorder for better effects.
- You can make a mini volcano, using, clay, gum and a can soda drink. First, make a volcano shape with the clay around the soda can. Be sure to leave the top open. When you are ready for your volcano to erupt, put the gum in the soda drink, and enjoy the show.
EditWarnings
