This tutorial is for users who want to transfer their existing MS Outlook Contacts in vCard, Microsoft Excel or in Outlook Express compatible WAB file format. Depending upon the preference user will be able to convert their Outlook contacts (.pst file) into a single or multiple vCard (.vcf) contact file.

    Download and install vCard Export tool.

    Choose "Default Outlook Contacts" if you want to directly convert the contacts from the Outlook email client else if your PST file reside in some other location, choose "Select Other Outlook File". Now click on "Scan Outlook Contacts" to start the conversion process.

    Wait for the conversion process to take place. Once completed the software will show you how many contacts are found and scanned. Click "OK" to proceed further. Now click "Save Contacts" button to save the scanned contacts, once you clicked you will be greeted with a new screen.

    At this stage the user has the liberty to convert the contacts into either
    • vCard (.vcf) (choose single or multiple contacts file)
    • Excel (.xls), or
    • Outlook Express(.wab)

    Once you select and provide the desired file format, click "Start Conversion" button to proceed further. The software then will prompt user to provide the location where the converted contacts will be saved. Provide the location and hit "OK".

    As soon as the software saves the converted Outlook contacts it will greet you with a message that the contacts have been saved successfully. Close the application and your converted contacts are ready to be used as desired.
