This is ridiculous. If your husband/wife is extremely computer stupid, it might work. But forget about fooling the cops. Hilarious...

this will not fool the cops, especially if you have a lot of illegal material on it - child pornography, excess of pirated materials, death threats, etc

use a program called debaser reformat your harddrive, because simply deleting the items does not actually delete them, it tells your computer that this can be written over, so the data stays.
