CATEGORIES

IDF has the following Association Members categories:

• Full Members
• Provisional Members
• Transnational Members

A Full Member is a non-governmental, not-for-profit association that is actively concerned with diabetes and related conditions in its country, and is registered or established under its national law. The IDF Board admits an association as a Provisional Member before it may be admitted as a Full Member by the General Assembly at the end of the meeting of the General Assembly at which it is admitted as a Full Member.

Full Members are required to pay an annual membership fee that is calculated based on the individual membership of the association and the Gross National Income of the country in which the association is registered or established.

A Provisional Member pays half the fee of a Full Member.

A Transnational Member is a non-governmental, not-for-profit association that is actively concerned with diabetes and related conditions in more than one country.
