This article doesn't mention the measurement of milk. If it's 2 cups of milk, 1 teaspoon of sugar is fine. But what if you're using less than 2 cups, or 4+ cups? This is a good base for milkshakes, but you still need something to make it creamy, which is why ice cream is used normally. Vanilla extract isn't best. If you do use it, don't put more than just a couple drops. You're better off using fruit. Without milk, this would be a smoothie.
