Welcome to AlcoholEdu at UGA! The University of Georgia has partnered with Everfi, whose mission is to help students address critical life skills such as alcohol abuse prevention in higher education institutions across the country. Each year, over 1/2 million students complete AlcoholEdu for College – their online, non-opinionated, science-based alcohol abuse prevention course.
As part of our comprehensive alcohol abuse prevention program, UGA expects each member of the first year class to complete AlcoholEdu. Whether you drink or not, this course will empower you to make well-informed decisions about alcohol and help you better cope with the drinking behavior of your peers.

ATTENTION!
YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE ALCOHOLEDU AND HAVEN COURSES BEFORE ORIENTATION. THE COURSE WILL NOT OPEN FOR INCOMING STUDENTS UNTIL JULY 17.

Please check back for updates. For students starting in Fall 2014, the course will open on July 17, 2014?

All incoming first year and transfer students under the age of 23. If you've already taken MyStudentBody at UGA, provide us with your certificate at [email protected] and we'll verify that you've completed the course requirement so you don't have to take AlcoholEdu.

The course will include surveys about your personal health behaviors to help personalize your experience and measure students' alcohol-related attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are confidential; UGA will only receive information about the student body as a whole and never your individual answers as a student.
