How to Install Mumble on Ubuntu

Two Methods:Using the TerminalUsing the Ubuntu Software Center
Mumble is a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) software program that allows one to connect with other people and voice chat with them. It's a bit comparable to Teamspeak and Ventrilo and is primarily used by gamers.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using the Terminal

1Open a terminal window.
This is usually done by pressing ^ Ctrl+⎇ Alt+T.Ad -
2Type or copy/paste into the terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mumble/release.- You might have to enter your password.

3Update the software:
Type or copy/paste sudo apt-get update into the terminal, then hit ⌅ Enter. -
4And you're done. You can open mumble by typing mumble in the terminal, or by searching for it in the dashboard.
Method 2 of 2: Using the Ubuntu Software Center

1Open Ubuntu Software Center. Go to Dashboard and search for, then click on, Ubuntu software center.

2Search for Mumble. Type mumble in the top right search bar.

3Select the program.

4Click Install.
- Enter your password, should you be prompted.

- If you want, you can also set up your own server. Be aware, though, that this requires downloading extra packages.
