This will tell you how to identify a ladybug's gender. Just because it is called a ladybug, it does not mean they are all female.

    Find a ladybug, often in your garden, on the grass, they even live on stinging nettles.

  • Be very gentle with the ladybugs as they are fragile.
  • Find a few ladybugs so you can compare them.
  • Try not to scare the ladybugs. If you do, they will fly away.
