How to Create a Presentation Using Google Drive

This tutorial will show you how to make a PowerPoint-like presentation using Google Drive (formerly Google Docs). Presentations can be used for school, business, and so much more.

1Click the Drive button on the top tab. You will be redirected to a log in page.Ad

2Log into your Google account. Use your email and password.
- If you don't have a Google account, learn to create one now!

3If your log in was successful, you will be redirected to the Google Drive page. Click the create button, and click the presentation option.

4A new page will allow you to start creating your presentation. You will also be prompted to select a theme for your presentation. In this demonstration we be using the default "Simple Light" theme. After you make your selection, press OK.

5Name your presentation. Click the "Untitled" text on the top to rename it. This will appear in the browser bar when you or someone is viewing the presentation. Press OK, when you are finished.

6Add content. You can now add content, or even add new slides. Use the top bar to edit your presentation.

7When you are done editing, press the share button to edit permissions for your presentation. Clicking the button also gives you your unique presentation link. When you are done, click done.

8View the finished product by clicking "Start presentation."Ad
