Many wikiHow pages do not work well in the Guided Editor. This is true of articles such as Draw a Frog or Build a Hot Tub Platform, where the initial author used a slightly different format than our standard. Here's an easy way to prevent a page from being altered:

EditSteps

  1. 1
Write __FORCEADV__ anywhere on the Edit page of an article.

    • Use it preferably on the bottom of the page, such as on the Edit page of this article.
Force an Article to Open With the Advanced Editor in wikiHow Step 1Bullet1.jpg
    • Using it on top of the page may be confusing to some editors.
Force an Article to Open With the Advanced Editor in wikiHow Step 1Bullet2.jpg
  2. Force an Article to Open With the Advanced Editor in wikiHow Intro.jpg
    2
    Finished.
