1Go for Non-Irritating Products:Remember that chemicals like acetone, alcohol, menthol and so are harmful for dry skin with acne. Avoid products that increase your red pigmentation. Opt for the right products which soothes your skin.
-
2Dirt-free skin is always healthy : Keep your skin clean. Use a mild facewash every morning and before going to bed. But it is important to keep in mind that if your skin feels stretchy after the wash, you must not wash your face frequently because it might strip out the oil needed.

3Hot water vapour treatment : Take a bowl and pour some hot water. You can add some neem leaves in it.Take a towel and put it over your head so that the vapour goes directly to your face.Do this method for 3 times a week or more. This helps in clearing the pores and let them breathe. After the vapour method, don't forget to wash your face with cold water since you can't leave your pores open.
-
4Moisturize : To keep your skin healthy, it is important that you use a strong moisturiser. Dry skin looks dull so, always remember to use sunscreen before going out or even when you're home. UV rays make dry skin problems worse!

7Less make-up: This sounds really awkward and unhelpful. But when you're suffering from the painful acne and the red pigmentation, I know you'll die to try anything that will give you the relief from it. Use less foundation base creams and if you have to use it anyway, use only the best. And take off all the cosmetics before going to bed as we all know that our skin absorbs and works well with what you're wearing while we're sleeping. :)

8Healthy diet & lifestyle: Add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet. And let me tell you this, you have to drink atleast 8-10 glass of water everyday to keep your skin hydrated. Cut the junk and oily spicy food.Don't stay late at night, it tires the skin. Good sleep makes skin glow! And for five minutes a day, try to relax your facial muscles.....just smile and stay relaxed. That's all in it .
