    Click on start menu.

    Then search for "Malwarebytes Anti-Malware" (Without the quotes)

    Click on the one just says Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

    Click on the Settings tab from inside Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

    Check the box that says Scan for rootkits.

    Double-Click (or click) on the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware shortcut on your desktop.

  • This is recommended for 32-bit Systems, but there some 64-bit rootkits out there
  • This will also enable rootkit scanning in al scan options: Threat Scan, Custom scan and Hyper scan rather than just being enabled in Custom scan
