Continue reading to learn the techniques behind getting the most from your Nevr-Dull!
Steps
-
1Gather your materials (see Thing's You'll Need below). Nevr-Dull is a little oily; it's best to gather what you need (and change into work clothes) before starting.Ad
-
2Tear a piece of wadding from the container. It doesn't need to be large, each piece holds more oil than you might think.
-
3Rub the wadding over the metal! Depending on the metal's tarnishing you might need to apply a fair amount of pressure to squeeze out more of the oil. Go over each area a few times, rubbing back and forth in small circles or following the metal's grain.
-
4Clean up unwanted oil on non-metal areas by quickly wiping it off with the paper towel.
-
5Let the oil dry onto the metal. This is pretty quick, it should take less than 5 minutes.
- While you're waiting, go ahead and return the wadding to the container. It can be reused later.
-
6Polish the metal to a lustre using the soft rag. Go over each area until the metal doesn't feel oily.

Tips
- Even if the Nevr-Dull is black it can often be reused. It's viable as long as it holds oil.
- Rubber or plastic gloves will keep your fingers clean and keep the oil from being absorbed by your hands.
