Per the spec: LHSs of mailbox names have case sensitivity that is
implementation-dependent and must be treated as case-sensitive.

RHSs of mailbox names are -- these days -- domain names, and domain
names are case insensitive by their spec.

RFC 2822 and 1136, I think.
