We regret that we are unable to post notes on the website in advance of print publication. Our long lead-time permits submissions to be fact-checked, edited, laid out, and proofed efficiently within our overall production cycle.
Notes are edited to fit available space, and appear on the website in the same form in which they appear in print. (Space constraints also mean that most photographs submitted will appear online, but not in print.) Notes are published online in tandem with the publication of each print issue.
