Tips

  • Use the bathroom and eat before taping begins. You'll be seeing multiple shows in a taping day, and you won't have an opportunity to do these things until tapings end for the day.
  • Bring an umbrella if it's raining. You'll be standing outside for a while before you can get into the studio.
  • Plan for traffic. If there's a lot of traffic, getting to the studio may take longer than expected.
  • Turn off any electronic devices before going into the studio. You're not allowed to take photos or record the show while it's taping. Keep your electronic devices in your bag or in your pocket.
  • You have to pay for your own expenses, so be sure that the trip fits within your budget.
  • If you want to bring children with you to the taping, make sure they're at least 10 years old. Children younger than 10 years old won't be admitted to the studio.
  • Be quiet unless you're told to cheer or get excited. Any sound, even a faint shout, can be heard in the studio. As much fun as it is in your home, don't shout out the answer to a clue. Doing so will result in you being escorted from the studio.
  • You can get tickets for up to four people. If you're bringing a larger group, you have to contact them by phone by calling (818) 772-6788.
  • You can also order tickets by mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope with a note that includes the number of tickets you want and the tape date you want to Jeopardy Tickets, P.O. Box 3763, Hollywood, CA 90028. Keep in mind that it will take a while to get your tickets if you order by mail.

Warnings

  • Submitting a ticket request doesn't guarantee that you will get tickets to a taping. There will often be more people submitting ticket requests than there are seats in the studio.
  • Having a ticket doesn't guarantee you admission into the studio.
  • Don't wear clothing with brand names or logos on them at the taping. Wear light, neutral clothing, as television cameras contrast clothing with bright bold colors and/or patterned designs.
  • Tickets for the show are always free. If someone tries to charge you money for tickets, it's most likely a scam.
