The AWLD extension facilitates using the AWLD.js, a javascript library for Ancient World Linked Data. See http://isawnyu.github.com/awld-js/ for more information about AWLD.js.
For every external link to an Ancient World resource, a small popup will be shown on hover, with a preview of the resource description. A live example can be seen at http://www.ancientmarbles.org/wiki/Africano
It will be useful to wikis dealing with content about the Ancient World, such as history, archaeology, literature.

Please download the code from https://github.com/steko/mediawiki-awld/downloads and place it in $IP/extensions/
. Note: $IP stands for the root directory of your MediaWiki installation, the same directory that holds LocalSettings.php.
