EditSteps
-
1Open the curtains and windows to get some fresh air circulating through the room.
-
2Pick up the trash. Wrap any broken glass or ceramics in newspaper and set it aside to dispose of carefully. Put the rubbish into bin bags, separating what can be recycled.
-
3Empty the open drinks into the sink and put in the trash.
-
4Clear any remaining food and put it in the garbage. It is probably stale after being out all night - better safe than sorry in this situation, as you don't know what could have been added during the night or if it was eaten hygienically.
-
5Sweep the floor, vacumn the carpet and then mop it clean or use a carpet cleaner if necessary.
-
6Get a damp cloth and wipe down the walls to clean away any splashes.
-
7Stand up the chairs and put them back into their proper place.
-
8Wipe the furniture with a damp cloth and dust the furniture.
-
9If there are soft furnishings in the room, wash whatever is dirty, taking care to read the care instructions carefully. Place what is clean into it's proper place.
-
10Pick up the closet.
-
11Pop the balloons and pull down the streamers from the ceiling.
-
12Do the washing up and put everything away into it's proper place once it's dried.
-
13Straighten the pictures.
