1. Re: How do I transfer an older version of Dreamweaver from a computer I no longer use?
Jon Fritz II Nov 11, 2014 11:03 AM (in response to clauderhunter)All Adobe products have come with licensing for 2 computers for a long time. All you should need to do is install it on the second machine and enter your activation info.
If you've already installed it on 2 machines and this would be the third, Deactivate it first under the Help menu on the old machine(s), then uninstall and reinstall on a new machine.

Nancy O. Nov 11, 2014 11:05 AM (in response to clauderhunter)You can't just copy programs from one computer to another. It rarely works right.
You need to install on the new computer so it can update your registry and other files in your OS. Do you not have your original installation disks? Which version of DW did you have?

Jon Fritz II Nov 11, 2014 11:15 AM (in response to clauderhunter)If you still have your activation info, just re-download it from Adobe: Download and Installation Help
...and use that same activation info.
