How to Change the Default WiFi Network on a Mac
If you want your Mac to connect to a different wifi network than it defaults to, you will need to reorder the list of your preferred wifi networks. Here's how.

1Open System Preferences. You can do this by going to the Mac icon in the upper left corner and scrolling down to system preferences.Ad

3Confirm that Wifi is highlighted on the left, then select "Advanced".

4Look in the list of Preferred Networks to find the name of the wifi network you wish to make the default network. Drag it to the top of the list. Press OK. Then, if asked "Apply Changes".If these network names are grey and not clickable, Go back to the previous screen and click the lock to allow changes.Ad
